MedNET 2006 Conference in Toronto – October 13-20, 2006

Mednet is the annual conference of the Society for the Internet in Medicine (SIM) which originated in 1996 to build a network of researchers, stakeholders and users sharing latest research developments and up-to-date tools in medicine, health and the Internet, an area which today is called eHealth.

The 2006 conference in Toronto is the first Mednet to be hosted in North-America, with an anticipated 800-1000 participants from all over the world, numerous partner organizations and satellite symposia/workshops (such as WATI III Web Assisted Tobacco Intervention – tbc), a large trade exhibition showcasing eHealth technologies and web-applications for health professionals and consumers, a ehealth business track, and high-profile keynote speakers.
